Exercise Advice
Before You Start
Before you start training, establish your PR, the max number of repetitions you can do for each level. We will use this number throughout the training process.
Week One
- Begin using level one, the first exerciser from the left.
- Establish your PR (Example 25 reps).
- Complete 6-8 sets of reps according to your PR every other day(Example 6 sets of 25 reps).
Week Two
- Continue with level one.
- Adjust the number of sets and reps according to your personal preference.
Week Three
- Progress to level two, the second exerciser from the left.
- Establish your PR(Example 15 reps)
- Continue using level one while mixing in sets with level two. (Example 5 sets of 25 reps with level one and 3 sets of 15 reps with level two.)
Week Four - Six
- Continue with level one and two.
- Use level two more frequently than level one. (Example 6 sets of 15 reps with level two and 2 sets of 25 reps with level one.)
Week Seven
- Advance to level three, the third exerciser from the left.
- Establish your PR(Example 10 reps).
- Continue using level two but add in some level three sets. (Example 4 sets of 15 reps with level two and 4 sets of 10 reps with level 3).
Week Eight - Ten
- Continue using level two and three.
- Use level three more frequently than level two. (Example 7 sets of 10 reps with level three and 1 set of 15 reps with level two.)
Now you can alternate between level one for more repetitions based on your PR(Example 8 sets of 25 reps), or level two and three for more difficult, slower reps(Example 8 sets of 15 reps).
Fitting Instructions
Step One: Simply rinse the jaw exerciser off with warm water.
Step Two: Pop it in your mouth and follow our How It Works and Exercise Advice pages to start exercising.
How to Mew Properly
What is mewing? Mewing is a technique that involves proper tongue posture and breathing habits to improve facial structure and jawline definition over time.
Tongue Posture
Place the tip of your tongue on the ridge of the roof of your mouth, just behind the teeth. Press your entire tongue against the roof of your mouth. Hold this position whenever you are not eating, drinking, or speaking.
Nose Breathing
Nose breathing is crucial for mewing as it promots the correct tongue posture needed for optimal facial development. On the flip side, mouth breathing prevents you from pressing your tongue on the roof of your mouth, a key element in correct mewing technique as discussed earlier.
